ABOUT US

Dr. Amber Emmino, OTD, OTR/L, CBIS, NTMTC
I am a pediatric occupational therapist with over 7 years of experience supporting infants, children, and families across medical, outpatient, and community settings. I earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) with specialized neonatal certification. My experience at Boston Children’s Hospital and Johns Hopkins Children’s Center provided advanced training in child development, neurological conditions, family education, and evidence-based pediatric care. These experiences inspired my passion for bridging the gap between hospital-based services and everyday life, ensuring families feel supported long after they leave the clinic or hospital setting.
Through several years of NICU experience, I have partnered closely with infants and their caregivers during some of the earliest and most important stages of development. Today, my mission is to bring that same level of expertise and support directly into the community, helping families navigate developmental concerns with confidence. Through individualized consultations, developmental screenings, parent education, and practical strategies tailored to each child’s needs, I strive to empower caregivers, foster meaningful progress, and help children thrive in the environments where they live, learn, and grow.
